Dr sanan did my cataracts surgery. He is an excellent surgeon. He is professional and compassionate and a gift to his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs ophthalmic surgery.

Dr. Sanan may be the best opthalmologist in Tucson. He has handled my difficult eye disease, keratoconus, for twelve years and recently performed a flawless cataract removal. Although he handles all concerns, he is probably the best 'cornea doctor' you will ever find.He is not only conscientious but compassionate and has a smile for everyone — no matter how tired he may be. Almost two years now Dr Sanan implanted an Optix multifocal lens in one eye. After the surgery my vision was blurry for Months! Dr. Sanan's solution was to take it out and put in a single focal lens (at my cost, of course, and assuming no responsibility on his part). He gave me a perscription for glasses for my other eye that was totally off. I had to have my eyes rechecked and get a new script. Now after two years, the multifocal is much better, but my near signted visison is still better with my cataracted eye.

Dr Sanan implanted the Optix multifocal lens in one of my eyes in September of 2020. He recommended the most expensive lens (which I would have been happy to pay for had it been the quality he suggested it was) and did tell me that they do have a "little" glare. Both eyes had cataracts and currently my eye with the cataract gives me sharper vision (with glasses) than the state of the art lense. The glare is at least 50% worse in the lensed eye. Dr. Sanan came highly recommended by friends of mine, and I'm sure he is a talented opthalmologist. However, I am unable to tolerate the incredibly long wait times in his office. I recently had cataract surgery with him, and I had an excruciating wait time of 2.5 hours in a wait line of hospital beds before the surgery. Nurses were standing around talking and waiting for the doctor without ever explaining the problem to the patients. I call Dr. Sanan a Miracle Worker! I had been told there was no guarantee my eye surgery would be successful and could probably wear glasses the rest of my life. Dr. Sanan did cataract surgery on both eyes and I now have perfect vision WITHOUT glasses! Strongly recommend ??

I can not say enough about what an awsome doctor and human being Dr. Sanan is. I had no appointment last friday but his office nurse, got me in right away and I was told that Dr. Sanan skipped his lunch to see me so I did not have to wait . I am so grateful to not only Dr. Sanan but also his medical assistant whom unfortunatley I can not remember her name. Thank you for seeing me promptly and I was then able to return to my work.
