Car repairs are never a pleasant experience, but GREAT customer care can make all the difference. Larry Donahue and his service team at San Tan Hyundai is a GEM! He was a calming presence during a difficult time, helped to thoroughly explain the problem to a non-mechanical person without sounding condescending, and was transparent and communicative throughout the process. Make sure you tell them to take off the wheel locknut or you’ll be calling a tow truck next time you get a flat as Hyundai doesn’t even know where the lock key is in your car. How is the key not going to be with the jack and spare tire every time? No offer to tow or send someone out. Nope I have to have it towed and I have to pay for a new key that may or may not have even been in my car to begin with. First of all my service advisor Hannah is awful at communication. I email and call numerous times daily and nothing. Not until I call and ask to speak to someone else or the manager does she respond to my email. They have had my car for 30 days. ALSO.... when she told me my car was ready it was not fixed, they charged my insurance for a new replacement Ignition Cylinder (my car was stolen) but did not replace it.
