Been going to them for over 15 years. Helped me alot with my issues through out the years. Very helpful and caring people there
Avoid at all costs. When I would meet with my psychologist I felt worse at the end of the session than I did when I first walked in. The group therapy was ok but the breathing exercises and "grounding" doesn't help my suicidal thoughts. They prefer to pill you up. The pills I received there landed me in the emergency room for lithium toxicity and I was in a car accident too from being under the influence from other medication. I do not recommend. Just walking through the door, you will feel as if you did something wrong. You will be talked down to and treated like you are backwards. This is not how to care for people, let alone those who are abuse survivors. You will be re-traumatized. There needs to be a serious re-working of mental health services in general that are trauma informed, sensitive, and non-pathologizing.
