White girl who loves there food I have purchased my cakes and food their for years and NEVER had an issue..If your White Bakeries(Albertsons.Vons) are so great then please do us a favor and go there.What does a wrong flower or stupid color buns have to do with race???Stupid trailor trash!!! Language barrier Ok, I will first say that for the most part the food is great. I have eaten there on numerous occassions. Now that I have transfered to the east coast, whenever I come in to town I alwasy make it over there for at least one meal. This last time however, I had an issue with the bill. They realized the mistake after about 15 minutes of language problems. yummy This is one of my favorite bakeries. The cheesecake is my favorite item on their menu. The food is always fresh, and for a little place that is somewhat out of the main street, it is usually pretty busy. The lady is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. I like to take my daughter here and we sit inside to eat our desserts. They also make great birthday cakes and pies. The chocolate with strawberries is my favorite for birthday cakes.
DISAPPOINTED....BUT GAVE THEM 3 CHANCES AND CAN'T GET IT RIGHT... Okay, don't get me wrong, they have good food and pastries..but seriously needs to screens them before baking...3 times they screwed up my order...1st time baby shower they put a black baby on the cake, hello we are white?...2 it ask for Hibiscus flowers and it was a Poinsettia no where close to it, last 3 for the 4th of July ask for BLUE hamburger buns and RED hot dog buns, it came out GREEN AND PINK...THEN they still charge for it..after sooooooo many years ... read more
North County Classic This place is is an old favorite... Use to come here as a child.Recently visited and cannot believe it is still there. Was really surprised that the road closure did not affect business. However after talking to clientele alot of the old timers are still frequenting the establishment. Great Bakery over 35 years and it shows oops TASTE...Classic French Style awesome cakes,danishes, and sweets..By the way had Breakfast there... What a FILL!!

Great Little Find This bakery was great. It's located near a historical mission so do some sight seeing while you are there. The food is good but the bakery is what you should really try. Everything I had was delicious. They do all type of bakery items, mexican and american, and can even handle wedding cakes and other special cake orders. The employees were really nice. Overall I enjoyed myself here.
