I recently underwent foot surgery with Dr. Christopher Byrne. Two weeks post-operatively, I contacted his office because I had clear signs of infection in my foot — pain, swelling, redness, and discomfort. I asked for evaluation. He listened carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and treated my foot problem quickly and gently. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. Beware! Doctor reprimanded for misdiagnosis and wrong treatment!!! After a couple of bad experiences with untrained staff taking bad xrays and a misdiagnosis by the distracted doctor that caused continued pain I reached out to another doctor. If I had looked further into this doctor and the San Luis podiatry practice in San Luis Obispo and Templeton (shame on me) I would have found that the doctor has been reported before and recently received an official reprimand for his poor medical care.
