RecommendedWe couldn't have asked for a better excellent experience. Wyatt was our guide for a 3-hour kayak tour in early September - he was knowledgable, entertaining and professional. We enjoyed our time with him and learned about the history of the islands and its wildlife. During our trip, we were fortunate to see several animals, including porpoises, which we know is a very rare experience for kayakers. I would sure like to give a sincere thanks you to a wonderful gal who risked her own life to save me and my eight year old little girl. We both were in a sea kayak off of Michell Bay some where. We left a little place called Snug Harbor, my family was not paying close attention to me after my brain injury, but a god send of a women from Bosnia Herzegovina, she tied a rope to the front of my two hole kayak at the beach on Sydney and oared us across the shipping lanes back to Snug Harbor; She saved our life that day. Knowledgeable and friendly guides with lots of kayaking expertise. We saw grey seals and many birds. Also tasted the edible seaweed (slimy and tough). Well worth the time and money.
Thank you SO much to Hayden and the whole staff today. You were so nice, and so helpful. We really had such a great time! We got take out from Golden Triangle to eat on the ferry, and are absolutely exhausted in the best way possible. Until next time!
We "threatened" our great guides, Sam and Kevin, to knock a star off b/c they forgot the cilantro...for the fresh guac...in a campground...on a kayak-accessed island. Can't do it. Our family's multi-sport excursion could not have gone better. S&K matched our sense of adventure with extra bike miles, tide pool rocks, and late-night searches for bioluminescence, and had great knowledge of the area's wildlife, geography and history to answer our questions. Great job, friendly staff, worth the time to go on an overnight. Cam and Jordan did a great job of guiding us (husband, wife and two teenage sons) and the rest of our group through the waters to our campsite. The food was delicious, lots of wildlife to see, and it challenged us all to work together.
