At this writing, there is less than 10 working days until October 1 which when the new lease term begins. Since the San Juan housing authority works Monday through Thursday is where I say ten working days to get paperwork signed and delivered to rental providers. When last I inquired, I was told that a policy update was anticipated for processing a HUD housing voucher authorization. Absolutely horrible!!!!! Would gove 0 stars if I could. I needed help with rent and went to talk with them. I was told I have to wait for a 3 day notice and then come back with my lease. I did exactly that. I went back with documents, signed in and waited. (By the way, you can see prior clients names, phone numbers, and email addresses on form) The woman behind a wall was on speaker phone with a client and literally told him, your contract is up, but we will pay your utilities and rent through March, because we have to look ... read more
