This place is awesome.. Especially with all the history behind it
Was pleasantly surprised. I drive by all the time, but never knew there was so much to the mission. Beautiful place, relaxing gardens, and historic atmosphere. I will definitely be back to enjoy more.

Did you know that the Chapel in Mission San Juan Capistrano - built in 1782 - is the oldest building in California, still in use today?
entrance is on the Ortega Hwy meets Camino Capistrano. We didn't know at first so mistaken San Juan Capistrano church as Mission but found out after few minutes inside the church
