he seems disinterested in helping customers – won't go back unless i'm looking for something i can't find elsewhere.
Worst place in CUSTOMER SERVICE – Think of the worst service you ever got and multiply by 1000, that's the service you get at San Jose coin shop.
Grudingly polite but disinterested in customers – Other than addressing me as "sir", this guy is sorely lacking people skills. I've visited twice, and the second time I asked to look through Canadian pennies, which this guy handed to me 6 at a time, leaving me standing in insufficient light to inspect the coins. He never offered me a chair (which he kept all behind the counters), and after I looked through a dozen or so coins, I got the distinct impression that he wanted me out of his store. Greeted rudely – I entered this coin shop on a Saturday morning and was rudely greeted by the employee/shop owner. Also, I asked to see several coins prior to purchasing and the employee was irritated and aggitated about having to fulfill my requests. I would not recommend this store.
