Camera Service and Repair I was looking to have my camera repaired and a friend recommended San Jose Camera. I brought my camera in and briefly talk to the staff person and explained what was wrong and what I felt needed to be repaired. He explained that the cost would be right about $50.00. They called me to let me know the exact cost would be $38.00 and did they want me to fix the camera or I could come by and pick up the camera. I asked if they would please fix the camera. Rude Staff If you know exactly what camera you're looking for, or if you want to buy a high end camera or piece of equipment this might be the place to go. In my experience, I didn't know what I needed and I was looking for a middle of the road camera. The staff I spoke to were rude. My guess is they work on commission and I was probably taking up too much time and wasn't going to be buying a $1,000 camera and so they would make little money with me. Would not recommend

camera film Bought some camera film for my SLR before a trip to New york. The film did not really match to my expectatons but was not that bad too. The place is pretty old but they are aware of what they sell.h

Crappy Service, if a bit Snobby I really don't know how this place manages to stay in business. But apparently it has been in business for over 70 years! Some have said that you can get pretty good prices on camera equipment here. But you have to know what you want to get cause they don't seem to like to "waste" time trying to figure out what you are looking for. The store has a display section of cameras they sell. Whether or not it's all of the cameras they sell, I don't know. Also they won't even offer to let you try the ... read more
