After the follow up appointment I just had.. This will be the last time I come back to this office. I personally do not care if you had a rough start to your morning or not most people do. But that does not give you a reason or excuse to be rude or disrespectful to your patients. The way I was treated this morning was very uncalled for. This is the first time I have ever had a bad experience at this office but I will not be returning.

It took over 30 days to get glasses. Sure, shipping has been slower due to covid. However, they had a different excuse or story every single time as to where they were. I was told no less than 4 times that they had tracking and there were 4 different delivery dates. No apologies.

I just saw the eye Dr. McCain For a little emergency on a Sunday!!! after a scary time and I’m okay! My contact lense had come out already at some point (probably fell on the floor he said). I have a small abrasion (from me trying to get the contact off) on the bottom white part but he prescribed an antibiotic ointment. Dr. McCain San Gabriel Eye Center is the only eye doctor that I would use and highly recommend. Our insurance changed and he isn’t covered but he is worth it!
Unfortunately, I can only give one star. It's a shame because I really loved the optometrist. She answered a lot of questions and was very friendly and I wanted to bring my mother to see her the next time she visits. That is, until my experience with their office staff. I wear bifocals, and I was asking about trying progressive lenses instead. I was encouraged to try them and told that they may not work for me and it would take some time to adjust. Staff is so kind and patient with my kiddos. We have had great experiences here and we love the Dr Donna McCain!! She is so good with my kids! Our appointment was quick and painless. You may want to consider getting ur glasses elsewhere though unless you have a lot of free time to kill... 😳
