Significant complications and extended recovery "I underwent a procedure on my great saphenous vein with Dr. Hong on March 6th. What was presented as a minor procedure resulted in two months of severe discomfort rather than the expected two weeks. More concerningly, two months later, my leg is not developing muscle as it should. The process felt flawed from the start and the outcome has been far more debilitating than I was led to believe. I would advise others to seek a thorough second opinion before proceeding.

The surgeon and everyone else involved in the appointment was very professional and courteous. I learned a lot that will be very useful as I try to decide if I will have a surgery.
