I've been seeing Dr.Abel since Jan 2024. He's attentive, caring, detailed and knowledgeable. A valued member of my healthcare team.
I have seen him twice now and despite him acknowledging that I *need* surgery, he is dismissive about my concerns regarding after-surgery care and what I should do about pain management prior to surgery. At my visit, I waited 20 minutes in a room after being told to undress by a nurse (I know undressing and a wait is normal). But then, after he walked in and took a quick look... he got up and stood by the door as if reaching for the knob throughout our entire conversation. If I could give zero I would. Fatphobic, dismissive, horrible bedside manner and devoid of care. Avoid this doctor at all cost.
