SF SPCA saved my dog!! She came in incredibly sick and continued to decline, until they were able to find the right combo of treatments and turn her around. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Reid, Dr. Villard, all of the vet techs, and front office staff for their open communication, prompt responses, care of my dog, and commitment to her health despite the challenges and obscure diagnoses. About 2 weeks ago because my dog was wheezing, stopped eating and was lethargic. My dog is only 14 month. The dr at time sent her home without examining the X-ray and said she was just getting older. Days later a different dr actually looked at the x-rays and Called me to let me know that my fog was indeed sick and it is either pneumonia or bronchitis. This dr prescribed an antibiotic that they had guessed may make her better if it were bronchitis. After showing no outward improvements I called and was asked to come back in.... read more

Really unhelpful. Took my dog that had contracted a pink eye and they couldn’t accept or schedule an appointment. Urgency care is a 2 day wait and reception desk didn’t even know how to schedule one.
