If I could give 0 stars I would. A HUGE waste of money. I did the $5,000 treatment plan. They didn’t listen to my complaints very well. I told them I have a joint issue overall and hypermobility and they didn’t change my treatment plan at all. They barely listened. They basically told me my jaw joints were ruined and if I didn’t do the treatment, I would damage the disc and have bone on bone. They quickly threw a bunch of Botox into me all over. I left this office sobbing in the parking lot. Please do not come here for any TMJ treatment or for any dental work for that matter. Do not believe the 5 star reviews, it's clearly paid or incentivized in some way. I was foolish to have believed them. I was not listened to and basically never given the chance to speak. They did not take the time to listen to my chief complaints, but went ahead to assuming random symptoms. Never personally met the doctor, it was all the assistants doing the work. (one time I clearly scheduled an appointment with the doctor, but the receptionist told me the doctor wasn't there that day when I got there). They charged me $5000 for the splints appliance, told me that I have medical coverage for TMJ, and did not get prior authorization for the procedure. I wish I had done my research before embarking on a savings account draining venture that would only lead to more pain. I trusted them wholeheartedly, as people in chronic, severe pain tend to do with doctors. I found out after the $6000+ treatment, which did not work, that there is little to no clinical research to support the efficacy of this TMJ appliance. I feel manipulated and duped. Incredibly pushy sales tactics are used against you at every turn when you visit this office. Prices are ridiculous compared to traditional dentists. Their mouthpieces have, so far, alleviated some of my jaw pain, but they try to push a new, expensive, seemingly unnecessary procedure on me every time I visit. I believe their mouthguards can help you, if you suffer from TMJ pain. However, you are going to have to resist being constantly sold new procedures. You are also going to have to pay, quite a lot.
