I've only been able to experience a small portion of the Gardens, but it is beautiful. There are sections of plants by region/continent as well as prehistoric ferns which were beautiful. If you go early (between 7:30-9 a.m., I believe) on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday it is FREE!
Amazing park and well worth a day walking around the various areas. Love the pan handle as well and the huge eucalyptus trees so many Aussie natives make many areas stable. Was devo to see the bunya nut trees in the park near the Fishermans wharf area they were so old and part of history not related I know but any garden fan would be The flowers were amazing in the dahlia area thanks for the opportunity to comment 5 star facility.
The Redwoods were the best. I actually hugged a tree.
