San Francisco Botanical Garden is a favorite place to experience the variety of ecological botanical wonders. The annual Flower Piano project is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the music and the gardens.

A bit unkempt. But rich and with decent labels. Could do more to educate visitors about the different vegetation zones and selected plant species though.

Piano garden is one of my favorite events. I look forward to it every year. I'm a pianist and it is a musical fantasy to play in such a beautiful space. Under the blue skies, under the redwood trees, over a shady pond, in the midst of desert grass, wrapped in the blanket of fog. Under the starry night, in the garden of fragrance... Yes it is magnificent.
