My son was in the San Diego area for 2 basketball camps. I searched for acupuncturists in the area and I am so thankful I found this place. When I called to schedule my appointments, I spoke to Sean. He was kind and accommodating and his follow through was unmatched. He emailed me forms right away and verified our insurance coverage within hours of my call. My son saw Uzi Chen and he was amazing - extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, and had great bedside manner. He spent over 1.5 hours on his first visit and you could t... read more
Sean at San Diego Sports Acupuncture is a rare healer. I came in with relentless back and hip pain from daily routine, and within minutes he not only pinpointed the source but taught me how to move and breathe to release the pressure my body had been carrying. His practical diagnostics and quick, precise work led me back to myself—relief came where tension lived for months. Each visit feels like a revelation. I am not an athlete and you don’t have to be either—if your body is crying out for balance, Sean will hear it and ans... read more

Before surgery I could only swim one lap win the pool and walk for 5 minutes.Post surgery I am swimming 40 laps, little over half a mile and walking 30 minutes. However, since February 2025 I have had burning and w... read more
I was skeptical about acupuncture at first, but I had back pain for months and nothing else was helping. A friend told me about this place and I figured why not. The acupuncturist was super calm and explained everything before starting. I was suprised it didn’t hurt at all. After just two sessions I noticed my back felt way less stiff. They even helped with my sleeping issues somehow. I didn’t expect that. The space was really clean and relaxing, almost like a spa. Only issue is they run a little behind sometimes so you migh... read more
Sean has been a key part of my recovery from muscle and tissue damage. His technique including dry needling, massage and stretch was focused and tailored to my needs and aided my return to hard workouts and pain-free movement. I’m grateful for his work.
