I was here to get my Appendix removed, and the nurses, CNAs, and doctors on the 5th floor, as well as everyone in the OR/Recovery Room, took such amazing care of me. Thank you to the whole team who cared for me during my stay!
You can receive great care at this hospital, but they're also happy to charge you $2,400 for basic blood work that costs $50 if you go to an independent lab. Completely unethical that they don't advertise the price before they let you commit to such an outrageous expense when it's non-urgent care. Funny that a non-profit offers services with 4,000% profit margins.
If I was able to give this hospital 10 Stars I would give them all 10 Stars I had Lasik eye surgery on the 9th of October and I felt so welcome from the time I walked into the doors till I left that place I want to give a big shout-out to Dr Nahl and the surgery crew from that day the anesthesiologist was great I was so scared when I went into that surgery because that's my eye anything can happen but they made me feel so at ease and comfortable that I once I got in there I feared nothing and I left so satisfied so big shout... read more
My daughter in-law delivered her first child at Scripps La Jolla and the experience could not have been better. The faculty was beautiful and the rooms were spacious and the services top notch, but what really stood out was the staff. From the physicians to the housekeepers, everyone was exceptionally kind, personable and empathetic, especially the nurses.
