Akenaton has truly helped me heal from my 22 year spinal cord injury. It’s kinda like a project that we work on together. That said, I have been to a lot of massage therapists. He has a relaxed but super tuned-in style when he works, and he is extremely respectful. He can and does feel out the hidden tension and/or those areas that nobody else has been able to find. Akenaton is very knowledgeable delivers an excellent medical massage. In two sessions, he has reduced my sciatica pain from 11 to 3, and he helps with best follow-up practices :)
I had a great experience with Akenaton! I did a series of massages for carpel tunnel and arm pain and felt great relief after just the first session. He also gave me exercises and stretches after each session to do at home which have really helped decrease my overall pain! He was kind, professional and knowledgeable!
After coming down with Sciatica I was eager to find relief and came across San Diego Medical Massage. After the first session the pain had subsided and regained more movement than I had leading up. We are now 3 sessions in and it has been the best decision on aiding recovery and highly recommend you give this place a try.
