My son & 2 friends had an incredible time celebrating his 10th birthday fishing with Coletta Sportfishing. Captain Chris was amazing help from the first time I called to inquire about charter options suitable for 1st timers all the way through after our trip. We haven’t even been home an hour and I have already raved about this company to every person I know. My son’s one dream was to go deep sea fishing with his dad for his birthday. My husband sadly passed before we got a chance and I have been desperately trying to find a company that would cater to children as I am clueless with fishing. Chris did not take us out like he said he when I spoke with him.. Instead he assigned us to one of his employees. He also insisted we get Mexican fishing licenses. We never went into Mexican waters. The employee insisted we only have one line out at at a time (There were four of us). They used the wrong bait - too large - and the only tuna we caught was one we snagged. This was two years ago and I am still pissed at how my family was treated. I tipped the Coletta crew generously - though they did not deserve it. A terrible f... read more
