I came to San Diego Detox after a decade of struggle with substance abuse. After multiple attempts with different programs, multiple facilities, therapy, life changes, and failures. I could get some sober time on my own but nothing seemed to work permanently. Depression, anger and loss were constants. At SDD I found something different. The recruiters are full of it. They lure you in and then block you if you try to refer anyone else. I spent almost 10 hours back and forth only to get blocked. It seems their commissions don’t allow them to “step on anyone’s toes”. Stay away from Darren and John. They lie, the commission is everything to them. Save ur money, insurance, and life. Oceans, San Juan Capistrano, and San Diego are commission driven. Save your life and choose anyone else.

I was very satisfied with my stay at SDD. From the minute I spoke with someone on the phone, to the minute I left there I felt like there was true caring and compassion. All the staff were so friendly, I felt like part of a family there. And if there were any issues or needs, they were addressed promptly. The kitchen staff was top notch, and the menu was never boring. I really enjoyed the location and the buildings and grounds were beautiful, really like a 5 star resort.
