I’ve gone to David multiple times over the past couple of years for maintenance. He’s always been upfront with me and has been great to work with. I’ve recommended him to friends looking for a new mechanic, and they’ve also appreciated his honesty.
I was looking to replace my vehicle brakes and found this place. David is very knowledgeable about what parts are needed to be fixed. He also showed me about other components that were worn down, so he leaves the decision to you whether or not you want it replaced or not. I think the pricing is fair for the services (depending on what you do). They also work on manual transmission cars. For certain, I'm going to be coming back here to have my vehicle fixed. He also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin for those who can speak it.
SD Auto Care Center is truly a gem amongst the dozens of repair shops in the city. Knowledgeable and personable, did a great job replacing my rotors.
I needed to check my front brakes. Went to one of the chain shops and got a quote for almost $700.00, $650.00 with a coupon! I called David and I could not possibly find a better price in San Diego, period. He got everything done in the time frame he said (within an hour).
