On two separate occasions, the following happened. I went to the office a week before my scheduled appointment for lab work. While I was there, there was no mention of referrals or authorizations for my scheduled appointment. During the week before my appointment, I received multiple voicemails, texts, and emails reminding me of my appointment. I even had to sign in for my appointment a few days before it was scheduled. Had my first visit with SAKD last week. Dr.Alvarado was amazing! The entire staff was great. It was a very good experience. I highly recommend them! So glad I found them!👏👏👏
I was told by doctor eventually that she was going to have me back in a month because my labs kept showing fluctuations in levels . I called to ask when my appointment would be because kidneys were operating several times at 53 percent ( concerning) Jessica informed me that wasn't what the doctor told me and that I was due back in 6 months.. Because I was told Dr. Johnson is retiring, I was placed with Dr. Foad. I found her to be a bit unprofessional. During two separate appointments, Dr. Foad took personal phone calls! She said “sorry, that was about another patient…”. Rather than excusing herself & stepping outside the room or letting it go to voicemail, she took the call during my appointment..in the room! I was visiting this facility a couple of times and was generally satisfied with the doctor. But unfortunately the office manager is absolutely rude and I decided to cancel all my future appointments because of her. I would not recommend going there.
