Was meaning to try this place out since they opened and finally got around to trying it a few days back. The place has a peculiar energy to it.. The employees seem unhappy and the food is mediocre. The drinks are alright but thats about it. The ambiance feels very forced and gimmicky.

I really wanted to love this place, but my experience was odd. I was the only customer in the place after they opened at 11. The girl at the counter didn't seem happy to be there. She took my order and my name and told me I could wait in the next room. I waited and waited. And waited. Then a lady (chef?) who was working in the room while I was waiting said, 'Oh. I was craving a good boba and decided to explore Google Maps for options. That’s when I stumbled upon Samurai Cat—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a friendly staff. I even got to chat with the Kitchen Manager/ Chef, which made the experience even more special. I tried several boba drinks (ube coconut and brown sugar) and each one was fantastic! Service is great however onigiri filling needs more flavor, the sesame on the outside makes the onigiri feel dry. The fruit sandos were just fine. Love the space though, so cute and cozy.
