Sitting at the hibachi tables is by far the only way to truly enjoy this restaurant. The chef's are great and the food is outstanding. However, if you are popping in for the lunch special, it is hit or miss. Some days it is outstanding for the price, other days the noodles are cold or the rice is cold, probably because it is prepared or something to keep up with the lunch crowd. Overall, I still love Samurai and think it blows Shogun away.
This is hands down, the best japanese restaurant in town. Let me start by informing everyone that there are three ways to dine in this beautiful, dim lit, sushi/steak house. First, you can sit at the sushi bar, which serves up fresh tuna, shrimp, eel, maki, and crab.
