If you value any amount of eye contact, being treated like a human being, being able to ask your MD questions, having any question answered beyond ‘I don’t know’ followed by him walking out of the room without another word, not feeling like your MD would rather be anywhere else than meeting with you, not having your MD deliver a life-changing diagnosis by saying ‘yeah so it’s lung cancer okay…I need to go grab a piece of paper’ and then leaving the room for several minutes, having an actual conversation about treatment optio... read more
Didn’t bother looking at the chart at all prior to first appointment. Had no idea about abnormal labs or other important health issues. AWFUL bedside manner in addition to being a pretty poor physician as well. Save yourself some heartache and go elsewhere instead of wasting precious time starting here for your cancer workup.
I didn't even want to give this doctor one star but it was the only option I had. He had no compassion for my father when he saw him as a patient. He couldn't get out of the room fast enough and acted bothered when you asked him questions. I would never recommend him to anyone.
No compassion. Doesn’t take time to talk or explain things. Many better doctors out there.
I am a new patient of Dr. Woods. My problem came in a hurry without much warning. Dr. Woods diagnosed my condition right away and drew pictures to show me exactly what was happening. Then he set upon a plan to attack and make me better. He has a good bedside manner and is very friendly. He takes time with me and I like that. He also explains very well, what is happening. I recommend him very highly.
