After reading some of the comments I was a bit apprehensive for my appointment with Dr Lawindy but I was pleasantly surprised. I went to see him because of continual UTI problems...I'm 70. He struck me as knowledgeable and caring. He wants to treat the symptoms through meds but also run tests to make sure my problem isn't serious. I'm very satisfied. The office is a bit scratchy but the doctor is good.
I have been to Dr Lawindy 2 times both confusing. First time they called and said I missed an appointment that I had no idea I had and now second time got a call from a surgery center which again I thought I had just an office visit. Big lack of no or wrong information. Never will refer
Happy to hear a possible help for UTI's. I had the procedure cystoscopy ureteral dilation, but disappointed with results. It did not help. Told to take meds to prevent UTI's & frequent urination. Why should I take meds if procedure helped? Not given clear answers. Never got any clarification of why it did not help.
He seemed nice at first, but brushed off a lot of my questions and concerns, also when it comes to actual procedures the way he goes about it is horrible. I had a huge kidney stone causing some blockage and his solution was to schedule surgery a month out and it be radio silent the whole time. No checks before to make sure it wasn’t fully blocked or anything.
