I fell, severely twisting my ankle, and heard a large pop in the knee. Dr.Inouye saw me briefly and chose not to do an X-ray of the ankle or knee. There was no one in the waiting room and yet I waited quite a while both in reception and in the room.I had to go to another Dr to request X-rays and found that my Tibia shifted sideways under the kneecap [lateral subluxation of the tibial plateau].
