Dr. Samuel Gettler is a kind, patient and down-to-earth physician. He is intelligent, solutions-oriented and has a relaxing bedside manner. Dr. Gettler has helped me and my entire family for years. Most recently, Dr. Gettler has been effectively managing my rare skin condition that was diagnosed from a facial biopsy. Dr Gettler's office was able to get me in quickly for skin spots I was concerned about. (no big deal, after all). The office staff is pleasant and very helpful. - Dr Gettler takes time to listen to concerns, he thoroughly checks my skin, and demonstrates to me what I should be looking out for. I have been Dr Gettler's patient for over 10 years and I appreciate him and his staff.
I have been seeing Dr. Gettler for the past several years, as my job requires me to be outdoors in the sun for extended periods of time, and my skin is prone to getting moles and freckles. Dr. Gettler has removed multiple bumps and other suspicious things that seem to pop up on my face and body. He has always been a great listener, consistent and pays attention to detail. Terrific dermatologist. Office is efficient, and visits seem to always start on time. Dr. Gettler is a very pleasant person and helpful with questions I have. I see him for annual screenings, as well as the occasional skin "issue" (most recently, shingles). Recommend highly.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gettler. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything, an excellent dermatologist. He makes you feel at ease and has a very pleasant and comforting way about him. Very easy to talk to, he listened to, and addressed all my concerns. He is very prompt and highly efficient. I brought my 12 year old daughter to Dr. Gettler to have warts removed a total of 6. This was her first time. He suggested next time I should give her advil an hour before and lidocaine a 1/2 hour before the visit. But at this appointment he never numbed her or gave any pain management and he proceeded to freeze off the warts. My daughter was crying out in pain, as I held her, he kept saying, " If you stop crying, it will hurt less".
