I recently saw Dr. Gerber for a traumatic shoulder injury. I was able to get an appointment immediately. He x-rayed my shoulder and prescribed an MRI. He was very thorough and patient explaining exactly what had happened to my shoulder, the various treatment options, and the expected outcomes for each. He was patient and clear in listening to and answering all of my questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and unlike some docs, is in no rush to perform surgery. He recommended, and we agreed upon, a non-invas... read more
Dr. Gerber is professional, kind, and an amazing surgeon! My results are remarkable, complete opposite from previous surgery with a different doctor. Could not be happier! My daughter is also a patient of his, he’s great!
A very caring Doctor. Dr. Gerber has the best bedside manner! The staff are very curious and helpful.
Wonderful doctor in every way. Took care of me like I was his only patient of the day. I recommend him to everyone of my friends, colleagues and family members without hesitation.
I have been seeing Dr. Gerber for joint pains for 30 years. He does not suggest surgery unless he thinks he can help your condition. And then he lets the decision be yours alone, without pressure. He offers other solutions for as long as you ask for them.(like cortisone shots). I have had two TKR and one meniscus repair by him. I find him to be gentle, empathic and wholly supportive. My husband has had the shoulder reconstruction with him and was pleased with the outcome. The office staff are gr
STAY AWAY!!He has a terrible bedside manner, was very arrogant and is only interested in performing surgery whether it is necessary or not. He is very rushed and doesn’t like to answer questions and tossed a brochure at me.Two physical therapist that were treating me for a knee injury also felt that surgery was not necessary as with each PT appt I had I made marked progress. I got 2 additional dr opinions and both stated that absolutely no surgery was necessary. With no surgery I now feel great
Dr Gerber and his staff couldn't be anymore wonderful, so helpful....
If I could give six stars, I would. Dr. Gerber demonstrates a rare mix of skill and patience. I had a persistent elbow injury. Surgery was eventually required, which was not an easy decision for me. Through it all, Dr. Gerber was very patient my many questions, even when I changed my mind on him out of fear. I was amazed at how quickly he responded to emails or phone calls, and his calm bedside manner put me at ease. Outstanding skill as a surgeon. Six months later, I'm back training!
Dr. Gerber repaired my rotator cuff and I not only feel fantastic, I healed very quickly. Post op pain was minimal and I have no problems.
