Dr Akuoko is a great doctor. I was referred to him by a family that he has taking very good care of for years. However, over the years it seems as if they set you up to see other doctors because he is always busy. If he is suppose to be my primary doctor, why would I be seeing anyone else. I usually see NP Raj. Saw her last week for serious pain in my tailbone and my left thigh. She told me to rest. I told her that’s not gonna solve this issue. She finally ordered an X-ray when I pressed for more help. She said it may be a pinched nerve. She prescribed steroids for 5 days and they helped but then the pain came back full force. I went for follow up today. Dr. Akuoku had me waiting for an hour and a half only to tell me that we all have aches and pain. He told me he can give me ibuprofen for pain. I said no I’d ... read more
As a young adult it was a pleasure going to this doctor's office. However in recent decades it appears that unless you see Dr. Akuoku himself personally your not going to get the quality care his office was originally known for giving their clientele. Maybe I'm just a little bit bitter that I have had to wait several months to have a physical form completed. However they don't have any problem sending me bills in a timely fashion. I'm so disappointed that we have to part ways but if I can't trust you with my medical records.... read more
