Although this location on the border of the Pike/Pine and Capitol Hill neighborhoods is not the original Sam's, it still remains true to its roots by serving gourmet burgers, crispy fries and tasty beers just as it did when it opened in the 1940s. Since the place considers itself a tavern, visitors will find a nice cocktail menu as well and on Tuesdays, it is a great place for trivia night.

Sam's is the best. Simply amazing. You have you try to 50/50 Burger and swallow it down with a mannys! Bartenders are so nice and inviting and all have a great sense of humor.
