Shrimp was overcooked and chewy, catfish was overcooked and bland. Okra was overcooked also. Fries were OK. Cashier was friendly
Great catfish, okra, mac and cheese. Food and service were great! Definitely will go again!
The ice tea tasted like it was two days old. We ordered the food to dine in and the food was delivered to the table in a go box and the girl asked if we wanted a plate. Didn’t bring any utensils and when asked for a knife, she gave me a plastic set. I ordered the grilled shrimp poor boy and there was two (2) shrimp on each half of a 10” sandwich. I should have known better when they had no cars in the parking lot at 1 pm
Couldn't figure out what to do for lunch , and I had never been here ,so we stopped.. Sams southern on Central. Service : counter service. Friendly and patient. Food 4.5/5. Not impressed with the veggie sides way too much black pepper and just average in general. , Philly was really good very juicy very delicious, chicken wings were chicken wings nothing to complain about there. A bit expensive but after tasting food it was worth it. We got the fried shrimp and fries.
