Very friendly staff, super family friendly and has great cocktails for the adults.
good chowder. halibut fish & chips were good. friendly, tavern atmosphere. I'd go back.
Great little cozy cafe with a bar hidden in the back. Decent prices. Nice bartender. Highly recommend.

I have been eating here for 20 years. Never a disappointing meal. I love this place and send as many people here as I can. The menu is diverse, affordable, and delicious. I dig the vegetarian options. The owners and staff are friendly. They keep great hours and the window seats are prime late night people-watching for all the kooks running around downtown.

Not very impressed 😩 food wasn’t great although, I can say it was cooked in a timely manner. If you want low quality food in a quick hurry I’d recommend Sam’s cafe. The server didn’t make any kind of connection with us. As a previous bartender/server myself I enjoy good service. overall, we were just unimpressed & bummed. My husband usually isn’t one to complain either but he said the only thing the cafe has going is that it’s on the beach. Sorry Sam’s Seaside cafe we won’t be future customers 😞

I ordered the garbage fries - the name truly fits. My nephew ordered the calamari & a tereyaki hamburger - that was good. My mom ordered a bowl of clam chowder - it tasted as if it came out of a can. I ordered fish & chips - it was ok. Waitress nice but got our ticket incorrect - added another meal that no one at the table ordered. We asked her to split the ticket & that was also incorrect. I don’t know that I would return...

Tried this place based on a recommendation from a towny. He said they have the best sandwiches in town. What he didn’t say was they have some really good clam chowder. The hamburgers where about average, frozen patties. The ice tea taste like dish soap. The French fries look like they are fresh cut but tasted like they where frozen. The service was mediocre at best.
