The best homecoming since my sweet grandmother was alive and use to cook for all of her family. It brought back memories. Fresh bread and real potatoes with homemade chicken and pie. Great place to eat.
We live South of Houston, but are up here fishing Richland Chambers Reservior all the time. We eat at Sams on the way up....and on the way back. Love it!
We drive a truck and stop by every time we are by if we have time. Best food we have come across in all the 48 lower states....George and Vada Proctor
The food is not as good as it use to be. The lettuce on the salad bar was brown, and it was just from the core of the lettuce. They had sausage cut up on the buffet it was as hard as jerky.
If you leave Sam's still hungry it's your own darn fault ;)
It was a great place to eat and friendly and the service was great....will go back if bacl down that way.
Just like you were eating at Grandma's! Don't eat too much!
