Huge and I mean huge buffet. Great salads although would have liked a better lettuce selection all they had was iceberg. All the veggies were yummy. Melt in your mouth brisket with a great smoked flavor. Fried Chicken was disappointing, too dry but the chocolate meringue pie...amazing. Definitely will stop again next time traveling to Dallas area.

Awesome home cooked food. Excellent service. Very friendly staff and customers. Very popular with the locals and anyone driving Highway 45 between Houston and Dallas. Worth the stop.

Always good food. And the service is always great lots of parking even for big trucks.
I love Sam’s. The decor could use a makeover but the food is delicious. I can remember when my parents took me to Sam’s when I was a little girl. In fact the restaurant was located on 75 then. I’ve been stopping at Sam’s to eat for over 50 years. The price on the onion rings is no longer 50 cents but they are still the best onion rings ever.
The staff was friendly, but I'd only give the food about 4 and a half out of ten. My wife and I haven't ate here in five years. But we may have forgotten what the food was like. The service was great though. But we probably won't return.
