RecommendedIt is the best place to eat for good old fashioned home cooking. Their onion rings are to die for as are all of their pies.

Food and service was great. We stop often when traveling I-45 to and from Dallas & Houston.
We had a great dinner while traveling. Our waitress was very attentive and the Chicken Livers were as yummy as my Mom used to make!
Loved the food and worth the drive to Fairfield TX from Waco Tx. Loved the small town vibe and let me tell you the sweet tea is legit! Texan approved!

Sam's had one of the largest buffets, it was amazing, all the food there was great!
I just moved back to Texas after 30+ years. We stopped in to Sam’s because it was one of my Great Grandma’s places and I use to come as a child in the 70’s/80’s. You can taste why they are still in business all these years later. The had great service and delish home cooked food. Our super picky 6 yr old enjoyed the homemade bread so much I brought the rest home w/us. My husband was impressed with the pie. We will be making this a regular stop when we head up to DFW area from Houston.
