We go here all the time sometimes there are kids here and sometimes not, but we love it the mom and pop feel, the family run part. Have never seen or experienced rude customer service. Will be back soon.
Our family loves Sam's Ice cream shop! The homemade ice cream is the best. If you haven't tried -you should! Sometimes a wait but worth it.
Ice cream was just meh. The service however was over the top horrible. I came in with my two toddlers who had been in a car for over 8 hours and was told that maybe I shouldn't be giving them ice cream because I had to tell them to not run inside and shouldn't reward bad behavior. Kids are going to be kids and unsolicited parenting advice isn't needed by rude strangers who sell ice cream (start a business not geared towards kids if you dislike them so much. )
We just ate here and the ice cream was alright; but the owner was very rude, not kid friendly, and made a scene about our two year old and anther customers young child playing with each other. They weren't being loud or touching anything. This places serves sugar; what do you expect from a 2 year old?! We will not be returning solely because of her rude attitude.
