Lightening blew out my entire AC-heating system. Sams guys responded first thing the next morning with analysis and an estimate for my insurance. They helped to explain to the insurance what happened, but did not wait, but ordered all the replacement equipment and actually had some of it installed before the insurance gave the okay. They said that whatever happened, we needed the AC, and this is July and 90+ days are here. Don't know who else I would have called. Very reasonable and dependable.
The tech arrived and spent 15 minutes with my furnace. He than tried to charge me 79.00 for the service call and 69.50 for the wire repair which included no parts. He had not been told that the office had granted me a senior discount. I called the office and they got the bill corrected. He had overcharged me 10.00 on the service call. I still donot agree that a 15minute appointment should cost 138.00 when I was told that I got up to 30 minutes of labor with the diagnostic when I called for the appointment.
