What kind of tire shop won’t pull a plug and do a patch on a puncture that’s firmly within the realm of being repairable? Utterly ridiculous. Their policy is that even if they put all four tires on your car, if you plug the tire yourself to be able to get home, they won’t pull the plug and patch the tire. You have to put on a spare and drive right to them, or have your car towed. Such bullshit. I had ordered tires with them by phone and had to wait for the tires to come in which took 2 weeks then when they finally came in I had to wait another week to have them installed but when it was time to install them they tell me they ordered the wrong tires and that the call center in the Philippines had made the mistake. Now they want to reorder the right tires and that’s going to take another week then I have to wait 1 more week to schedule for them to install. Did a walk-in at the Ke’eaumoku Sam’s Club and they were able to take me in. I had two nails at the back tire and Jay helped me identified the nails and provided solutions that they could help me with, either patch up the existing tire or replace the tire with a new one depending on the damage. I decided to drop off my car as I’m a walk-in. Within less than two hours, I got a call from them and said it was ready for pick up. Great news was that they were able to patch it up. I had ordered 2 new tires and made an appointment for Friday at 12 noon for installation. I brought my vehicle in at 11:45 and was told I would receive a call when the tires were installed. I sat and waited until 1:30 before they even drove my vehicle into the shop. One of the mechanics came in & told me that they could not install the tires because my odometer was not working & they could not see the mileage ! What does the mileage have to do with new tires?
