My father-in-law paid almost $5,000 for a set of hearing aids from the company Miracle Ear in Phoenix Arizona. When he came to live with us in Alabama, he needed the TV turned up so loud we couldn't stand to listen to it. He couldn't hear us when we talked and we had to yell constantly. We took him to the Sam's Club for a free hearing test. After the test, he was fitted with hearing aids and allowed to try them in the store.
