Avoid the tire/battery department at Sam’s Club (Store #4776) on Holmes Ave. I went in for a basic battery replacement on my 2018 Chevy Equinox—something that should take minimal effort and be done correctly. Instead, I left with a vehicle that immediately started having serious and dangerous issues. Within moments of leaving, my check engine light came on, I got a “Service ESC” warning, and my electronic parking brake activated while I was driving.
