A place like no other! We love the history of Albany and this home was partly that and partly great design in the additions. Large and spacious rooms, beautifully decked out in period with touches of the past the home was a delight to stay in. The breakfast gifts were delightful with homemade jam, eggs, butter, fresh baked bread, yummiest cheese and fresh milk not to mention the gift of wine. We felt spoilt. We've stayed a number of times now at this beautiful cottage and the Allotment Cottage is definitely our favourite family accomodation in Albany. Equiped with everything you need including some special goodies on arrival. It's quiet, private, comfortable, clean, character filled, and well appointed, and so close to town. The resident chickens and the beautiful gardens are a bonus! Thanks Lou and James x
This was one of the few houses in Albany we could book to accommodate three couples plus all of our kids, and we couldn't have hoped for a better spot. The house is beautiful and homely, with a variety of large bedrooms, a communal living area, an upstairs ensuite, plus an extra toilet downstairs. The kitchen is sizeable and well-stocked so you can easily do your own cooking, the laundry has a washer and dryer, and there's plenty of parking on the empty lot next to the chook pen and veggie garden - which were a hit with the ... read more
Absolutely perfect stay! The house was beautiful, the location was ideal, and the hosts were wonderful. The thoughtful special touches really made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and very much look forward to returning in the future.
Highly recommend staying here when you're in Albany! Plenty of room for large groups, easy walking distance from cafes, pubs and restaurants. Really beautiful interior and garden area. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely stay here again when I'm next in Albany.
