This dentist was unprofessional, condescending, and had the gall to try to bill me for his dreadful services. Dr. Ebeid was dismissive of my concerns, did not properly communicate treatment options, and ultimately withheld treatment (after numbing half my face). His lack of empathy was evident. Overall, I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for competent and caring dental care. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and low-quality treatment make this dentist a regrettable choice for dental care.

I could write a book on all the problems Samer M. Ebeid DDS of San Rafael CA Has caused me and my family. I will just stick to my own personal experience and let the others decide if they want to warn others about him. First off, I found him to be very nice. But - either he needs glasses, better equipment or up to date training. I do not know. But he has caused me and people I know, YEARS of problems! Horrific experience!!! A real nightmare!! On top of the staff being rude and not returning phone calls. My root canal tooth turned into an infected tooth, then infected gums to after 2 months of pain it turned into a bone infection!!! Now I had to have oral surgery and remove the whole tooth! I never felt listened to and was not treated for a dangerous infection. Lost weeks of work and nights of sleep.

Dr. Ebeid is a star. I have needed to see Dr. Ebeid for several procedures, I have a difficult mouth. There is no pleasant reason to see someone for the services he offers; BUT I found myself almost looking forward to seeing him for this most recent treatment. Having the confidence that he would both save this latest tooth, avoid an infection and NOT cause me any pain made the episode almost pleasant. Thank you Dr. Ebeid and Staff.

Dr Samer Ebeid is truly good and i recommend him highly. I had difficult situations with an infection and lots of pain, complicated by the fact that I can't handle most medicines. The doctor found ways to treat me with best results. He is the best I have experiences all these years and I have been treated with many others. He works carefully and gently, being unusually interested in his work while he really care for his patients. I am very grateful for his work.

Started with honest evaluation of my situation, pros and cons and estimation of outcomes. Almost painless root canal. Nice facility and office staff.

I was also fearful from a bad experience 8 years ago with root canal. Dr. Ebeid took time to have a long conversation with me and went through exactly what happened last time and what he would do differently. The experience was like night and day. He used just enough nitrous oxide to make me feel like I was dreaming, but not out of it. The whole procedure took 2 hours but I never felt any pain at all. I have been treated by Dr. Ebeid for nearly 10 years for multiple root canals. I was extremely fearful at first, but now root canals are not an issue with the exception of my weak teeth that keep on needing root canals. I want people out there to know that this is the office to go if a personal touch is important. You will be treated as a person and not only a tooth.

Never having a root canal before, I was a bit nervous. Dr. Ebeid's manner was reassuring and he answered all of my questions to even calm me more. I couldn't believe how quickly the procedure was completed. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I drove from Sebastopol and back with no issues and no pain. Six months later, no problems -- and he did this through an existing crown!
