Refused to prescribe two medications including a retinol when I had not had success with over the counter medications.
I've been going to Dr. Samel for many years. He is a caring, very professional doctor. He listens to any/all issues you may be having and treats them accordingly. He explains everything in a way all patients understand. I continue to recommend him to friends and family.
Saw Dr. Samel on 6/4/18. Couldn't have been more pleased with his professionalism as well as his expertise in diagnosing me. After giving him my symptoms he recommended that I see a neurologist for a nerve disorder which causes itching and extreme burning skin sensation. So grateful to know what is causing this. His staff is incredible and I highly recommend this office.
I’ve been seeing him for over 10 years on a as need basis. He is a first rate dermatologist. He can diagnose things quickly. I would trust his opinion without question.He is very professional. I can’t give him 5 stars simply based on the fact of his bedside manner. He is often curt and cuts me off mid sentence. He seems to be in a bad mood but I think that’s just his way. He is in and out of the room in less than 6 minuets. He’s to the point. An excellent physician.
Went for a rash on my neck, during his 5 minute visit he said I had psoriatic arthritis??? His answer was to send me to the drugstore to get over the counter anti itch cream. Stupid me does what he says and of course it did not work. Went to my primary care, he gave me a steroid cream which worked fantastic. I also had a complete work up for psoriatic arthritis. Guess what... not to be found. I want my40 dollar copay back quack.
My visit with the staff and Dr.Samuel was very professional and informative
