Dr. Arebi did surgery on my 90 year-old mother recently. Fortunately, it wasn’t major surgery and Dr. Arebi was able to fix her hairline fracture. The reason my rating wasn’t higher was not because of the surgery that he did, but because of the fact that he didn’t take the overall condition of his patient into consideration. Dr Arebi performed my ankle surgery in May 2020. I had to have emergency surgery performed ,because my ankle was severely broken and was dislocated from a fall down my staircase. My PCP referred me to him. Initially the surgery seemed to have gone well. However I was not giving proper instructions on care after surgery. Examples my ankle should have been elevated above my heart. I was not told this until much later. I should have been weight bearing sooner. His staff never informed me of this.
