BEWARE!! Took our car to Samco Auto because we were told the alternator needed replacing. They never tested it before replacing it. After installing the new alternator, they admitted the old one was actually fine — and that the issue was something they couldn’t fix. We paid cash and were given no receipt. Felt taken advantage of — be careful
We took our vehicle here because we were told when we replaced our battery that we needed a new alternator. When we went to this place we told them we think we need a new alternator and if they could replace it. Turns out the alternator was fine and they still charged us. You would think they would have checked the alternator before replacing it. Disappointed and feel like I got ripped off.
