Absolutely the worst office to deal with. Dr Mathew’s is rarely in the office. Can never be fit in when dealing with a flare up. The new nurse is absolutely awful and can’t even fill Out FMLA paperwork correctly. When told it was incorrect tried telling me it was exactly like last time. It wasn’t. I’m over this office.
Once again experienced medical gaslighting! Didn’t even get to meet with doctor Hall because the nurse asking me questions prior (Dr.B) made me feel as if she didn’t want to treat me. “So you don’t have pain today… what do you want us to do for you?” “Why rheumatologist?” I am now 26 years old and drove an hour away from home to seek answers as to if I have an auto immune condition. I TOOK A CLOSE FRIEND HERE, THE STAFF WS POLITE AND TOOK AN INTEREST IN ENSURING WE WERE CARED FOR AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE TREATMENT PLAN.
I have been seeing Dr. Mathew’s for a few years now and shes absolutely the best!!! It was so nice to shorten my drive from Syracuse to Watertown to see a Rheumatologist! All of the staff working here are always extremely friendly and cordial. I would highly recommend this practice for Rheumatology care close to home.
By far, the worst doctor in the area. My husband waited over 6 months to get an appointment to diagnose undetermined body pain..he was quite aware he already had arthritis. He was seeking guidance on possibly being diagnosed with fibromyalgia..this MD informed us that this is not something a rheumatologist deals with, nor can anything be done for this illness. WRONG ON BOTH COUNTS. She ordered only an X-ray of his hands, which was denied by insurance..she was contacted numerous times to appeal this decision and justify the n... read more
