Didn't get any help. 3 hours in waiting room.eventually left. Why do they call it emergency for? I'm gonna figure out something else. Get more attention at the morg.
If I could rate it zero stars I would. I’m currently on vacation and had injured myself , I anticipated needing X-rays so I went to the local emergency room, spent several hours there and witnessed multiple snide remarks towards patients and extreme condescending behavior . I couldn’t believe it. I choose to leave without fully receiving care because I didn’t feel confident in the care and services they were providing . I’ve never experienced anything so unprofessional.
I must share the recent experience i had at this hospital. I had badly injured my left knee and it had gotten so bad I couldn't walk, plus signs of infection. I went to the er and was taken care of immediately, Carl at the check in was great, they then sent me to the 3rd floor. There i had the best care ever . Dr. Jeanette and Dr. Clark were awesome. "I am writing this to highlight a severe patient safety issue at this emergency department. I presented with suspected acute carbon monoxide poisoning. Instead of receiving immediate high-flow oxygen therapy—which is the standard medical protocol to prevent organ damage—I was placed in a queue for a future blood draw and sent back to sit in the public waiting room on room air. Mary in billing is a rude gaslighter who yelled at me for 20 minutes literally yelled when I had a legit question literally YELLING at least someone else in the office listened to the tape of her yelling at me and could not believe what she heard. see in this instance there was a tape. and i was apologized to over and over and the woman even cried to me hearing what i endured. since then i have been treated better but why do people do this in the first place? i was only asking a question about something genuinely that was no... read more
