Samaritan Lab is reliable. The check-in is easy. Xander, lab technician, is very friendly and calming. He listens and aims to please (easy skin pricks).

Visiting Yachats from out of state. Had a screaming awful sore throat so figured strep or COVID. Went to Samaritan Urgent Care in Newport. Both tests came back negative but the PA (Duncan—so caring and simultaneously so efficient) knew the virus based on the lesions and exactly how to get me on a path to managing the inflammation and pain. The intake people and nurses were great, too. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Samaritan!

Staff is rude to ANYONE that goes in there. Discrimination. Security told me and my husband not to ask for food because that's not what their for, Claims to be a private hospital but yet it even says in the name "Community" meaning for the community not just rich people who can afford private insurance.. Never going there again!!

The only person I talked to was the person at the entrance who gave me a wrist bracelet, and I waited. I waited 4 hours until someone came out from back, and i got 2 xrays of my back and then out to the waiting ... read more
